District managers supervise programs Monday through Friday. If not supervising a program, they remain available to assist at any locations that may need extra support. District managers also evaluate our programs and coaches periodically. One of the most important aspects of being a district manager is conducting dedicated research each week specifically pertaining to generating new program affiliations, finding potential employees and identifying possible expansion locations. Finally, district managers help develop curricula and plans for new programs and activities.
Expectations:
- Communicate with class coaches, supervisors, and students effectively
- Maintain energetic but controlled classroom atmosphere
- Be able to handle emergency situations in a calm manner
- Carry out any necessary classroom discipline
- Report classroom incidents clearly and accurately
- Self-manage time and resources for outside research and program development
- Discern good opportunities for staff and community growth
- Analyze staff and programs effectively and objectively
